I imported several hundred photos into Lightroom CC prior to adding GPS coordinates to the images. Later I ran GPS4CAM which added the GPS data to each image. Adobe Bridge shows the GPS information correctly for each image after the GPS4CAM update, but the LR metadata panel does not show that GPS data is present. Is there a way to get LR to recognize the presence of the GPS data?
I have used GPS4CAM to add GPS information to images prior to importing them into LR, and the data is properly shown and recognized in Lightroom.

If you app writes the GPS data to the xmp file, you need to tell LR to update its metadata from that file. In that case you see the arrow pointing upwards on the images in library grid view. Make sure the display of the metadata status is turned on.
