Please state the exact version NUMBER of Lightroom that you are using.
Please tell us EXACTLY where you see the images. Please tell us EXACTLY what happens when you try to import. Please quote the complete unedited exact word-for-word error message.
LR 5.6 Camera RAW 8.6
I see the images when the are loaded into LR, However when I click import it does this:
Some import operations were not performed
Shows nef files
Please click below for an updated version of lightroom
With two boxes that say save as or check for updates
I have recently installed windows 10 a week ago also.
You need to upgrade to Lightroom 6/Lightroom 2015 or later. If you are a Creative Cloud subscriber, you simply need to update your Lightroom to receive the version of Lightroom that will import your D7200 Raw photos.
As far as I know I have the current version. This is what it states in my CC??? How do I upgrade?
I have just gone in there to download
Hope this makes a difference...
LR CC 2015 (equivalent to LR 6) should be offered as an upgrade to LR 5 in the CC manager app. But it came out in April so if you haven’t seen the update by down, something’s wrong.
LR 6 requires a 64-bit computer so that is one reason it might not work. o Help / System Info in the LR 5 you have now and look for the System Architecture and Application Architecture and see if they are x86 or x32 (32-bit) or x64 which is the necessary 64-bit OS.
You can try installing LR 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.1, 6.1.1 from here:
Don’t install LR 6.2.anything, yet. Wait for LR 6.3.
If you do have a 32 bit operating system, or any operating system which won't run Lightroom 6/Lightroom CC, then you can download the free Adobe DNG converter version 9.0 or later and then use that to convert your RAWs to DNG, which Lightroom 5 can import and use.
