Thanks. I don't have time for that right now, though. So, I abolished the table and just put in a 3-column text frame. And, that works. I'll try what you suggest, though, as soon as I can.
The table placeholder box works like a photo placeholder. Using the selection tool acts like it is resizing the table, but it is only resizing the container that the table lives in.
If you double-click inside the table, you'll get your text cursor, then, as you move the text cursor to the sides, dividing lines, or corners, you'll then be able to resize the cells and/or the table.
Be aware though that the container box does not resize along with the table. You'll have to do that separately.
Thanks. But, I'm not using the selection tool. I'm using the text tool, as I know that that's the tool for all things tables. I can only re-size to a degree. I need to increase the table's depth, down to the bottom of the text box it's in. But, it won't let me. It stops at a certain depth. It's incredibly frustrating. So, I abandoned the table idea and just used a 3-column text box. I had to get the work out.
