As I run Adobe Suite products, the number of running instances of the Adobe License Utility just seem to keep multiplying. I just opened my task manager and noticed I had 60 instances running, each demanding about 1.6 MB of memory. It certainly doesn't seem like good performance. My first thought was that I had malware running disguised as the utility, but when I dug into it, it seems legit - just really bad and wasteful.
What's the deal with this?
I also noticed that there's a matching number of open instances of conhost.exe, each running with a charge of 2.6MB of memory. I have a suspicion that this is related.
