LR 6/CC is unable to import from nikon formatted CF Cards

    EMC_ckranz Level 1

I have both a nikon d4 and d300s and after the recent 6.2 release I was unable to see images on cards from either of my cameras. The import dialog browse options were not able to navigate through the nikon formatted cards. I tried multiple cards and both a D4 and d300s  and experience the same problem.  If I use Win 10 to browse the cards I can see my images and copy them to my desktop and then import them into LR but that seems cumbersome and not a realistic method to work. I have never had problems like this since I started using LR 3. In order to resolve this issue I had to completely reinstall an older version of LRCC that predate the changes to the import dialog. Of course now I can import the images off the cards, but the import dialog is unable to preview the images giving me a message about not being able to view the data. Once the images are importing they show up on the bottom film strip.

Also now if I export as a tiff to an external editor, whether its PS or a 3rd party plugin, when the images is saved back it constantly refreshes until LR is restarted. prior to this no changes where showing up until LR was restarted.

Because I am on an even older version now CC is always telling me a new upgrade is available. How can I tell if these issues have been fixed?

Win 10 is my OS and not win 8.1 as listed below not sure why it lists the wrong OS.
