What version of Photoshop Elements, what computer operating system?

Nevertheless, if your program is Photoshop Elements, you have posted in the wrong forum. Some how your thread got posted in the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum (video editing).

Please re-post your thread in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum to take advantage of the specialized expertise there. The link to that forum is the following.

          Photoshop Elements

When there, please give lots of details to expedite getting to the core of your problem with Photoshop Elements.

              Thanks for the reply.

I think that the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum will be of the most help with the combination of Elements Organizer and Mac.

But here are my thoughts on this matter. I am strictly an Elements Windows user.

If this were Elements Organizer 14 Windows, I would be suggesting that you delete the Elements Organizer setting file which is named psa.prf.

And, if that did not work, I would suggest creating a new catalog. Probably top of the list I would ask if the Elements Organizer crashes just trying to open it or whether it crashes only when you attempt to import your files into it.

But, you are working with Elements Organizer 14 Mac, not just Mac but 10.17 El Capitan which is a new operating system.

My most solid question would be the one about when the crash occurs

              a. just opening the Elements Organizer 14

              b. when you are importing your files into the Elements Organizer 14

If the latter, then I would ask about the source and properties of these files that you are trying to import.

See if the following helps for deleting the Elements Organizer 14 Mac setting file

              Macintosh OS: //Users/[User Name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Elements Organizer/[Version]/Organizer/

I was obtained from the following Adobe document

Troubleshoot system errors, freezes | Elements Organizer

We will be watching for further developments.
