Thanks for your reply Premio_oscar, but the audio/sound that plays is not from an mp3 file. It is the sound from the video. The option that you showed is not available on my version of InDesign (CC).
Any chance you know how I can stop the sound from the video when I turn to the next page?
Maybe this can help you
Take a look to "Best practices for audio files"
Before we go any further. What is the target here?
SWF is about as dead as can be and will not work on any mobile device. You should reconsider what you're doing here.
Some may disagree with me, but beyond forms, interactive PDF is irrelevant today.
BTW, what version of InDesign are you using?
They have nothing to do with SWF, especially if you’re embedding them in a PDF, which again, I would highly discourage doing.
Further proof of my statement. Nothing in that PDF seems to work here.
Sorry, wrong link. Here's the one I am trying to replicate: Fremantle Dockers 2014 Corporate Entertainment
Is it possible to do that in InDesign? By the way, I'm using InDesign CC and the document will only be viewed on desktop computers.
That’s not a PDF
Thanks for your help. But based on the link, is it possible to do that using InDesign?
make your pdf from indesign and then import your pdf in professional software, for example:
(the software is not free)
look video example
(In this case, I add, that you should place and edit your video and audio settings in flip pdf software (not in InDesign)
I think "premio_oscar" has it: It's not built in, you need to buy something extra to do what you want to do>
Did you ever get an answer? I'm having the same problem.
Nothing has changed in InDesign with this issue posted.

Hi @Steve and everyone,
Here's one solution i stumbled upon when i experienced the same problem. I'm designing an interactive PDF, by the way.
- In PDF, go to the page with the video.
- Right-click, select Properties
- Under the Launch Settings > Activation Settings > Disable When: > Select this option "The page containing the content is closed"
Hope this helps!! Cheers
This is a good solution! Thanks @tphua
I did the same, but instead, I've chosen in the PDF:
Properties > Disable When > "The page containing the content is not visible"
Thank you again. Cheers!
