    Want to add a digital signature/certificate to a .pdf file using my electronic ID card, but the signing tool does only end up drawing a signature on the document.


      I'm using a Belgian electronic ID card and want to send an invitation for a conference, which would allow the participant to request a visa at the Belgian embassy in their country of origin


      However I need to certify the document with my details so the embassy staf can know for sure the files have not been tempered with.


      I've added my certificate to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and used the sign tool to add my signature. However, the resulting files do not contain any information about me siging the document.


      In MS word it's easy to add such information, but saving the file as .pdf from word, removes the certificate.


      Any help is highly appreciated.
