I am Running Indesign CC2015.1 under El Capitan on my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro. I am finding that every couple of days (every 4 or 5 loads of Indesign), the workspaces be it Essentials, Book, or Advanced does not load correctly/fully. The menu box with Pages, Layers, Stroke, Swatches etc on the right hand side does not load up. Selecting to Reset the Workspace doesn't do anything. It is as if the program does not fully load itself every so often. These 2 machines are design macs, and other than MS Office, run no other programs.
Unfortunately that does not fix the issue. It actually wasn't able to load any workspaces after resetting preferences. Restarting Indesign normally appears to have got them back but, it is still a recurring issue that every 4/5 times Indesign is started they won't load. Could this maybe be a compatibility issue with ElCapitan 10.11.1?
There have been a lot of problems reported with El Capitan and not just from Adobe.
It does not appear to be Apple’s finest work.
