What version of Premiere Elements, what computer operating system?
I ask that only in case we need to go into some specific details later.
The answer is going to be the same nonetheless....the audio in the DVD menu is max 30 seconds looping.
No control over that - never has been. You should be able to select the 30 seconds portion of the audio that you are adding or replacing.
Any questions or need clarification on the matter, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.
As mentioned previously, the menu audio replace or addition has max 30 seconds looping.
Consequently, if you browsed to and select a 15 seconds audio, you will get playback of that audio in the menu for 15 seconds with looping.
And, if you had a 60 seconds audio file, you will get playback of that audio in the menu for only about 30 seconds looping. But, you could set for which 30 seconds you wanted with the feature's In Point.
Please let us know if you are OK with the information mentioned. If you need supplemental information or clarification on any of the above, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.
