Rendering out uncompressed video using layers from a photoshop file in After Effects. How can I keep the colours consistent with my psd? I have tried rendering out in many different formats and the colours are never the same.
Simple answer: This happens, when you do not work on a calibrated monitor (and in conclusion do not use any form of proper color management in PS by using the proof preview) and are not using standard sRGB color spaces. That and of course the simple fact that some CoDecs have built-in Gamma shifts and expose other color deviations due to how their compression may work, all of which can be compensated or at least reduced considerably using the right methodologies. Either way, you have some reading up to do and probably should start by resetting your possibly mis-tweaked monitor.
