Put the linkable file first on the desktop. Then hyperlink to it. Then export your PDF. Test the relative hyperlink. Put the PDF and the linked file in a folder somewhere else on your computer and test it again. It might work.
Thank U Michael !
I already try this but it didn't work anyway :-(
my file's name is test.doc and it is in the same folder (or on the desktop) ...so in ID i wrote test.doc in the window after choosing "file" mode. Am I right ?
A precision those files will be send to another person after. (that's why i need relative links and not absolute)
I tried this: I opened the PDF in Acrobat. I went to Edit the PDF and right-clicked to open the Properties of the Link. I changed the action from Open in Browser to Open a File and navigated to the same desktop file. I then tested again and it seemed to work correctly.
It works when i erase "file:" in the action window in the pdf before the name of my file. Thank you ! So it works..but I still don't understand why it doesnt work directly from indesign... It's not very convenient to open the pdf to make this manipulation..especially when there is a lot of links :-)
thanks anyway !!!!!
