I really want to know if there is a way to find a color that I didnt see on the file.
For example, I do a bussines card with only one color, at the end of the work, I I select all unused colors to close the file "clean" , but not all the colors delete!, I try to find them, but I didn't see them!
I really need in a tool like the "selected same fill color" like illustrator have...
I hope I explain my self (sorry about my english) in spanish it will sound better.... (but don't you have forum in spanish?????)
Go to Edit > Find/Change, click on Object, then the little magnifying glass icon. You can then specify any attribute you wish to find, including fill and stroke colours.
If it doesn't find anything, you may have a 'ghost' swatch that refuses to delete, even when they aren't used. It's not uncommon. Exporting your document as IDML can fix that.
Thank you Danny!
I followed after your instructions and the color doesn't appear in the find/replace list, if I save as IDML I need to repeat the same steps?
If you reopen the IDML file, hopefully, Select Unused Colours will work. If not the next step is to make sure the colour isn't in a placed graphic.
