    Borders within tables in Indesign

When I create a table in Indesign and apply rules and borders to my cells and table I don't seem to have control over where the rule sits.

I can't for instance make indesign put a stoke inside my cell it only sits on the centre of my stroke, this makes my table wider by half the width of my stroke.

As you can see the pink border sits in the centre of the table border and not inside the cells.

Here it is with just a cell selected.

      Any ideas?
