i can't open indesign because i do not have sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders. I am on windows 10 64 bit and I am the only administrator/user on my pc. I have an assignment due Monday morning and need help asap but of course adobe doesn't have a 24/7 tech support.
Trashing the prefs won't work, but deleting the two InDesign folders listed in that link probably will. Those folders are hidden, so be sure you set Explorer to show hidden files in the Folder Options.
