Managed to sort the technical issue by doing the following which I found on another thread.
> Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
> Click on Performance tab
> Disable Use Graphics Processor
> Restart the machine
> Launch Lightroom and check for the issue
Thanks for this!! I did not have to reboot my Mac, but it did work, I also found Lightroom unusable today. I was on the 30 day trial & just upgraded to a subscription this week, that is when they updated the version of Lightroom & today was my first time using. You have saved me a lot of frustration!. However, I'm still having to Force Quit to exit after a backup. Any thoughts on that?
Do a forum search for the "force quit" issue. There are multiple threads.
I had no problem shutting down, your fix from earlier was all I needed.
