Good morning folks,
I'm attempting to burn a PDF file to disk created in Acrobat XI (ver 11.0.13), that references files in a folder on the root of the disk. I am unable to change the file path so that when it's on a disk and given to someone else, that they are able to open the referenced file from clicking on a bookmark. I have been able to do this in the past, but I'm thinking it may have been before we upgraded our Acrobat.
Any help would be appreciated.
Shane
Hi Shane,
If we use Open a File option it will always refer to location at which it was first created. In this case, when have to burn the PDF on a drive, I will suggest you to use Attach File option from Comment tools set. By going this way it will add a clipper icon where you want to have that link.
Thanks,
Abhishek

Hi Shane,
If you would like to change the path then use Edit Link option in Acrobat and change the path.
Thanks,
Abhishek

sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. I am using the bookmark properties and using the action of "open a file". When I choose the file, it's located on a folder on my desktop. From within the program while the files are all still on my desktop, it works beautiful. Once I burn them off to a disk, they are keeping the same file path, and it's looking for the files on my desktop. So when I give the disk to someone else, they're useless.
