nobody can tell you anything without exact info - render settings, system info, version of AE. If this is CC2015, uninstall it and (re)install CC2014.
I have exactly same problem here ( sorry for my bad english ).
I have sound in preview, i have sound with " adobe media encoder " , but i have NO SOUND with "output render in AVI lossless". ( yes i have check the box )
I solved this problem by installing after effect CC 2014 , latest version totally buggued here.
Windows pro 7 64 bits. (new install today)
after effect CC 2015 last version (new install today)
realtek audio driver
I happen the same. And I haven't idea how I can download the last version.
I'm testing the program but it's resulting too stress, because i spend one week to understand why doesn't record with audio.
I have other problem, when I'm going to see the different formats i can process i haven't got the video windows, mp4, etc.
"it's resulting too stress, because i spend one week to understand why doesn't record with audio"
Agree.... I lose one day for nothing.
I don't understant why user beta testing and debuging AE.
GUYS I GOT IT. AND THE SOLUTION IS WAYYYYY BETTER THAN JUST USING RENDERING. So after the countless time i spent trying to render it i found a way that actually made me glad my old rendering didnt work. All you have to do is download adobe media encoder and BAM your golden. I render it in h.264 which i couldt using the old render and now it works great.
I don't want adobe media encoder, i need AVI lossless..... I use another program for mp4.
Adobe media encoder don't have sharpen filter (no idea why......!!!!!!) , can't use AME without sharpening.
Yeah... about that... H264 was stripped from the default rendering within AE in the hope it would force users to use AME.
