I mistakenly deactived Adobe Creative Suites from a customer's workstation. They do not have the serial number for this product. They did purchase this product from a retail store. Is there a way of retreving this serial from the workstation? The customer does not remember registering the software. I was trying to install the software on a different machine.
I am sorry, if the serial number is not registered we will not be able to trace it at all.
As correctly suggested by Rajshree, you can try to check in the Adobe account if the serial number is registered.

When you deactivate CS, you have to make one of two choices - "suspend" or "permanent"...
So depending on which you chose, the licensing information may still be available on that machine. You can try following the techniques given here to see if that's the case.
