Hopefully this is the right way to ask the question. I have used an 18% grey as a calibrating tool. My monitors are all calibrated (Spyder pro4). Does anyone know or does Adobe publish the presumed value of their background greys?
Any help in asking the question would be great.
(The reason I am asking this is to determine whether colors in the pictures I take are realistic. Not sure this is the right approach but thought I would ask. Thanks
Do a screenshot of the UI. Open the screenshot PNG in Photoshop. Assign your monitor profile to it, then convert the color profile to whatever profile you want the color numbers to be in terms of: sRGB, AdobeRGB, etc.
