    Lightroom 6 trial

Tried to try 6 and keep getting not working in windows 10. Some suggested updating video drivers, but mine are up to date for my lap. 5 works fine as I have the stand alone. Any ideas ??

          Hi sclptman,

If you are able to launch Lightroom 6, then disable the Graphics Processor from Lightroom Preferences.

          Open Lightroom

Go to Edit menu<< Click on Preferences

          Click on the Performance tab

          Uncheck the Graphics Processor

          then, Go to General tab

Uncheck the Option "Show Add Photo Screen"

          Restart Lightroom

Now if in case Lightroom crashing on the startup,

then Disable the GPU from the Device Manager till the time you uncheck it from the Lightroom Preferences.

          Once done then enable it.

          Open Control Panel

          Go to Device Manager

          Look for Display Adapter

          Right Click on GPU listed

          Disable it.

Let us know if that helps.

Lightroom 6 won't launch no matter what I do. Always get stopped working

message. I deleted it for now. 5 Works just fine. Like to try 6, but ifI

            can't do anything, I do

n't want to upgrade till the issues are fixed !

Sure, you can wait for the next dot release and then you can try the Lightroom 6.
