Hi, is it possible to use text variable to take just the first five characters of a file name. I am trying to create a slug at the bottom of a document containing various information such as Job number, file name, date etc. The first five characters of the document are the job number so this would be great if i could do this. Thanks.
I don't think a text variable can do that, but a script probably could.
Just use a variable for file names!
Play the game inserting where you want followed by a NJ, then convert all these variables in text [see Tomaxxi] and play it with a simple grepstyle to "visually" only keep the first five chars!
If you change the name file, easy to replay the game!
