Sorry for the issues with Lightroom.
Have you tried importing from a different card or Desktop?
If you are using CC 2015.2.1 would suggest you to roll back to the previous version : Roll back to a prior update version

I am using LR 6.2.1 desktop NOT CC
Im working on a Macbook Pro & link my LR to an external HD where I store my photos.
When trying to import, it does not show the source of where the photos are or show where to import them to.
The import on right hand corner is greyed out & the programme freezes, not allowing me to cancel importing or quit LR, I have to Force Quit each time.
Why is it showing this box
when I'm trying to import? Ive never signed up for Lightroom Mobile. I have also received an email stating that my 30 day trial of LR is over. I have purchased this programme & have the receipt in my account.
This is getting really infuriating now, this update is the worst that Adobe has done since Ive been purchasing each new programme from Adobe Lightroom 3 to now.
Need some answers very quickly & it to be put right.
Then try this.
- Open LR
- Go to Preferences - general - and uncheck Show "Add photos" screen
- Restart LR and then check again.
- If this step still does not help follow the instructions mentioned in this link : Roll back to a prior update version
