I recently purchased a new computer and am working on getting all my software installed. I figured this would be a good time to "clean house" and install only what I need to. One application I have on my old computer is Lightroom 5. I never used it before and apparently I only have the expired trial version on my old computer. I never installed or activated the actual disc and am questioning if I really need to do so. I bought it before realizing it was more of an application for photographers.
I'm a graphic designer - are there any benefits of using Lightroom as a graphic designer, or am I better off with Bridge and Camera Raw?
You are probably better off using Bridge & Photoshop for graphic design work. Bridge is a browser and will see all the images and assets in your folders. In Lightroom you need to import from the folders you wish Lightroom to manage.
