Set up a template; you can copy this to each page to keep the content consistant.
All the text on your page should be formatted with Paragraph styles, and any instances of bold, italic, etc should be set with Character Styles. That way, when you decide that the font, size or color of some element needs to change, it can be fixed one time (in the style) instead of 25 times (once on each page)
The format your recipes are in now will dictate the best way to get them into you document.
What would you suggest the best way to get all the content in? Is there a way to put all the info into a spreadsheet and import it? Or will I have to manually paste the information onto each page?
If you put it into a spreadsheet (with each row containing a recipe), then you could use Data Merge to create the whole thing (even place the photos) automatically.
