Its a known issue with Apple after the update of Mac OS 10.11. refer the Link: Lightroom and El Capitan | Mac OS 10.11
You can copy the Images using the Finder on the Destination Location and then Add those images from there in Lightroom.
Also you can update the Lr Version for 6.3 release Lightroom CC 2015.3 / 6.3 now available
Hope that helps.
Hi Mohit - thanks for the prompt reply - I've been enjoying LR having moved from Aperture, although I've yet to move all my old photos into LR, but maybe should in case Aperture stops working with an OSX update one day !
Has Lightroom 6.3 fixed this problem importing from OSX 10/11 ? Will I run into additional new problems - I see some people are restoring older versions of LR. Presumably there's a charge to upgrade ?
If you are using the Lightroom 6, then there's no charge to upgrade and there was issue with Lightroom 6.2.1 update and now its fixed in Lightroom 6.3 update.
The Issue that you mentioned before its related to Apple Update and we are closely working with them to getting it up and running. for now you need a work around.
Thanks again Mohit - presumably when the connectivity issue is fixed there will be an update from Apple, or will it be from Adobe LR ?
Mohit, the known tethering issue relates to Nikon and El Capitan. Roger's using a Canon, so it can't be the same (Nikon SDK) issue.
