I really hope someone can help me...
I have a dng file that I created in ACR by creating a pano of a dozen or so single frames. I do this with the majority of my photographs so it's something I'm very familiar with. I then open the file in photoshop and do my final edits and save as jpg.
A client recently purchased a photograph and when I opened the file to create a printable tif am confronted with the error "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."
I am able to correctly open other DNGs that I photographed and processed the same day.
I am assuming the file is corrupted somehow. I know I was able to open it at least once immediately after creating the file because I saved a small jpeg and added my watermark. The corruption must have happened after that because both files (on my hard drive as well as my backup) are corrupted.
Thank you for any advice you guys can offer.
Thank you Eric - I can later tonight. It's 650 mb and I'm not on fast internet right now. Unless there's anything you can walk me through checking.
