We have just upgraded from Acrobat Pro 10.X to DC2015 due to Acrobat 10 EOL. We do enforce Protected View as part of our security polices. Disabling it is not an option.
When a user access files from a local directory it opens fine. However, when accessing a file from a network share Acrobat hangs. We have verified the device is property connected to the network and the user has proper rights to access the files. I was going to add the share as a trusted folder path but when I click the "Add Folder Path" button the Preferences box becomes unresponsive, as does the main window.
