Error upon start of Premiere Elements 8 on Win 7

Hello forum. I am in need of assistance. We have a number of school computers that need Premier Elements 8 installed for the students. When successfully installed and ran for the first time we are receiving:

Install went fine, license activation fine, Photoshop Elements which was installed from the same installer is functioning without issue. Quicktime, installed. Installed from and admin account, ran as admin, tried another computer, tried a clean install in clean environment to no avail. Any advice on what direction to go now is greatly appreciated! Look forward to all of your replies!

Are you sure you want to use Premiere Elements 8? It was notoriously one of the weakest builds of the program -- in addition to being 6 years old, a lifetime in terms of technology. Version 8 offered support only for tape-based video camcorders, with virtually no real support for AVCHD, MP4s or any of the current video standards.

That said, did you install each program individually on the C drive for each computer?

Also ensure that you get the update/fix for Premiere Elements 8, issued soon after its release. It fixed a number of issues that made the program very challenging to get and keep running.
