How to export drop down menu to DW??

    Horst1881
      Hi all,
I am have just created a drop down menu in Fireworks and wanted to export it to my website to update the menu.

Now, I have saved the button files in my rootfolder. When I go there from DW/ Insert Image objects/ rollover button (its a rollover), I see the following files that I created from Fireworks:

      registration-nor.gif
then I have a whole lot of
      registration-over_f6.gif
(corresponding to the amount of frames I have in my roll over button)

      I also got
      mm_css_menu.js

      and
      registration-over.htm

      and
      registration-over.css

Now, the above is a whole bunch of different files, and I cant seem to figure out how to put them in the right place or swhich file to choose for where, in order to get my drop down menu to work>

Please help me, and tips would be highly appreciated!

      Cheers!

You really want help? Don't use these menus. They are pretty poorly
implemented and will be a bear to maintain. There are much better ways -
          some free and some commercial:

Check the uberlink and MacFly tutorials at PVII
          ( http://www.projectseven.com/)

and the Navbar tutorial/articles at Thierry's place
          ( http://tjkdesign.com/articles/dropdown/)

Or this one (more recent article):

Or to get it done fast, go here -

            Thanks for your answer,
Unfortunately one of your offered links would set me back 90 USD, the other two links are broken.

This leaves me with your last link as only option, while I will get into this now, I would still appreciate feedback from other people who may be able to explain why my initial attempts with drop downs in Fireworks simply didnt work in DW.

            Cheers!

              Horst1881,

I don't use the menus but, my first try would be to use the.....

Insert Objects/Fireworks HTML option instead of Rollover Image.

Try the other two links again. They work fine for me, and always have.

It's the best $90 I have ever spent, too. Not only do you get something
that works out of the box, but you also get it with an unlimited use
                license.
