I'm thinking about this kind of effect concerning the "texture" of the particles: Liquid Particle Logo - After Effects Project Files | VideoHive
Find Edges, CC Vector Blur, any other "smeary" effects one might think of.
I also wanted to know how to make as if the particles were shining, as in this template? Supernova - Motion Graphics | VideoHive
Trapcode Shine, CC Lightburst and any other effect of that ilk.
Thank you for your answer ! I tried to apply CC vector blur, but the result is not very good... it is blurry but not "liquid" at all, it doesn't look like the particles in the link I attached, it's just a dirty blur. Would you please give me some precisions ?
Thank you in advance
You would probably want to use Trapcode Particular for that effect as Particular emits particles with a lifespan and Form does not. Anyway here is a tutorial that may set you off in the right direction. After Effects Tutorial - Liquid Ink Drips - YouTube The basics of it is to apply a fast blur (vector blur may work too I've never tried) then apply a levels, switch to alpha channel and smash the black and white together. This kind of sharpens up the blur and creates a liquid effect..may work for you.
There are lots of tutorials on creating liquid effects with particular in AE on Youtube. I'm sure they'd work on Form as well I'd bet there's some for shiny effects too
