Would you please provide more information about your problem?
Did you open a PDF form in a mobile Reader app (such as Acrobat Reader for iOS or Android)?
By "shaded", do you mean that form fields have field highlighting like this?
Acrobat Reader apps for desktop and mobile highlight form fields in light blue color to indicate that they are "fillable".
The field highlighting feature is enabled by default. It is not possible to disable it in the mobile Reader apps.
Please let us know if you have a different problem with your PDF form.
THANKS for your answer.
Yes, that is EXACTLY what I mean.
Is there any way that this can be considered as a future update - VERY useful and will not cost much code I think? There are MANY situations where the shading is best turned OFF.
Also, to save me having to re-design all my forms on a frequent basis (like now - as they are predominantly grey, similar to this shade) it would be GOOD to KNOW what the 'limitations' of the Reader APP are? Are they noted somewhere for reference?
I have also been experiencing other problems with buttons, etc. but these are not even consistent throughout the forms. Some work, others do NOT.
For the option for disabling field highlighting, would you please submit a feature request form?
Our Product Management team will take your request into consideration for a future release of Acrobat Reader for iOS.
Thank you for your inquiry.
