I created pdf from indesign cc, added animations to manu, it is playing while previwing in Indesign, But after exporting to pdf it is not working.
Exporting to .swf is working fine...My question is "do we need flash player compulsory to view interactive .pdf with animations" ?
Viewing SWF files is not supported on almost all tablets. PDF animations work on some not on others, depends on the Viewer application and the animation features. Have a look at this book: http://www.amazon.com/Creating-Animations-Adobe-InDesign-Step/dp/0134176111/ref=sr_1_1?s=b ooks&ie=UTF8&qid=1448529744&sr=1-1&keywords=indesign+animations
in order to see animations in a interactive(!) PDF you will have to:
- Export the page with the animations or export the selected animation to SWF
- Then delete the source animation on the page and replace that by placing the exported SWF.
- Then export to interactive(!) PDF
You can ONLY see these animations in the iPDF when Flash is installed on the machine you use to display the iPDF (so all tablets are excluded by default).
