Sorry for the delayed holiday response. The first thing that jumped into my mind:
Are you signed in with the same Adobe ID (email address) on your mobile device and your desktop? So many people have more than one (especially when going from trial to subscription) and it's super common to not be signed in both places with the same ID.
Let me know if the same Adobe ID is a certainty and we'll go from there.

Turns out is was the creative cloud on my desk top that was the problem. Re booted it and all fine and dandy.
