What exactly are you trying to achieve?
You want page numbers in Roman numeric format or what?
I try to read an ebook with android app of adobe reader. This ebook has pages like cover, prefaces, acknowledgements, contents etc numbered with roman numerals from i till xxvi. Further pages from chapter 1 are numbered with arabic numerals from 1 till 875. If I open the ebook on the laptop (Win 8) the adobe reader recognize roman and arabic numerals, but adobe reader for android doesn't. It shows arabic numerals from first page instead of roman numerals. So if I try to navigate to page, e.g., number 200, with acrobat reader for laptop, I get page number 200. If I try to do it with android acrobat reader I get page number 174. So it seems to be a bug of android acrobat reader.
Currently, the Acrobat Reader mobile apps (for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone) only show sequence numbers starting at 1 and do not support page labels.
- i, ii, iii, iv, v...
- I, II, III, IV, V...
- a, b, c, d, e...
