    LR CC 2015.3 friert den ganzen IMac (El Capitan) ein...

      Seit Update auf El Capitan 10.11.1 friert  LR CC 2015.3 andauernd den ganzen Rechner ein... Since Upgrade on El Capitan LR CC 2015.3 freezes permanently the whole MAC... (IMac early 2015) - Was tun / what to do??

            I will try that. But have read some minutes before the recommendation 'rollback on Lightroom CC 2015 1.1'...

            Is it a problem of El Capitan (10.11.1) or of LR CC 2015.3?

              They have fixed now, as of now i would not recommend you to roll back

                Resetting preferences doesn't fix the problem. LR 2015.3 still freezes... Sometimes typing MissionControl on the keyboard helps and LR ist working again, too. Found the problem with CCLibrary and CCXProcess - i'm not sure but don't think this is my problem. Still impossible to work with LR.

                    Lets try this

                     

                    Create a new user account(for testing purpose) and try to open the Lightroom in there.

                    It could be a permission issue.

                      I tried this but I'm not experienced with permissions. By the way - I've never changed anything regarding permissions.

                      LR seems to work in the new user account with a small test-catalogue (just .jpg) - but freezing sometimes occurs after a while and I don't want to play around with it.

                       

                      Still LR in my normal account freezes and the mouse disappears after different times working with it. Mostly MissionControl helps to get back.

                        see if turning off the graphics card acceleration helps. This is in Preferences->Performance (sorry no clue what it is called in German). Also, I would check if your hard disk has problems. Thus is done using Disk Utility, which is found in Applications-Utilities. This app can also repair permissions on your hard disk which might be a good idea too.
