Ps and Lr won't launch.

Purchased the year plan and have now repeatedly downloaded and uninstalled and re downloaded (from both CC and the website) Ps and Lr. With Ps I get no launch- nothing from CC app manager and an error message Entry Point Not Found (32 bit) when from Windows. Lr app also does not launch but asks me to update a catalog.... over and over and over... and never opens regardless of how many times I've downloaded the catalog. Windows 8 on a PC.

Customer chat support guy says it's a tech issue and they can't help me until Monday when tech support is available.... 😞

downloaded the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4. Microsoft Application.

that seemed to do it.

uninstall everything cc.

clean per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

restart your computer.

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

use it to install your lr and ps.
