inDesign CC 126.96.36.199 x64
I would prefer not to loose my preferences.
I don't think replacing the prefs likely to help anyway, but if you want to try, use the manual method so you can restore the re-named copies.
Are you using the CC Libraries feature? Is this happening in all files, new files, or just this one file?
We're starting to see more reports of problems with Windows 7. Did it ever work properly? Have you updated the CC App itself ( there was a patch in the past few days)?
I'm not using CC Libraries (not that I'm aware of).
It's happening to all files as it seems. Tried to open a file I downloaded from Lynda.com and it happens there to.
Coluld it have something to do with auto-recovery?
It used to work well. This occured a couple of days ago. I update as soon as there is an update in Adobe Cloud.
Not likely to be related to auto-recovery -- that kicks in on program start and either is successful or fails. Wouldn't hurt to log out of the CC App and back in to make it check for an update, though.
Do your Typekit fonts show as synched? I don't use Typekit, so I'm not going to be much help with them.
This thread might also have something useful in it: How to permanently disable Libraries CC
I believe the problem is related to Suitcase Fusion 6, which I am using.
So I'll search for the solution there.
Thanks for your help, folks!
