Lightroom 6 and CC are precisely the same program. The only difference is that CC can utilize Lightroom Mobile whereas Lightroom 6 cannot. Also, Lightroom 6 Does not have the dehaze filter, edit it does not have the black/white sliders in the adjustment brushes. Why do you want to use Lightroom 6?
If you are paying monthly, and are still using Lightroom 5 as part of your creative cloud subscription, then you haven't installed the upgrades and updates that have been made available to you. It might be necessary for you to reinstall the creative cloud application manager.
- Lightroom CC and 6 both are same versions apart former is a part of Creative Cloud subscription and later is a standalone version.
- In fact you will have more features if you are working on Lightroom CC.
- So if you have a subscription then why do you want Lightroom 6.

If you are paying a monthly fee, and are still using Lightroom 5.7, then you haven't taken advantage of all of the upgrades and updates that are available to you. With the monthly subscription plan, you should be using Lightroom CC 2015.3. Check your creative cloud application manager to see if you have new installations available. If not, then you may have to reinstall the creative cloud application manager. Anyone who is paying the monthly fee to use Lightroom should not still be using Lightroom 5.7. It has been completely replaced. It's possible that you might have Lightroom CC 2015 installed on your computer, but you are still double-clicking on the icon for Lightroom 5.7. The icons are identical, and both versions of the program can be installed at the same time on your computer.
