Have you updated Lightroom to the latest version?
If yes then please follow the below steps:Solution 1:
- Go to Lightroom > Preferences(Mac) or Edit> Preferences(Windows)
- Click on the Performance
- Uncheck “Use Graphic Processor” and Restart Lightroom
Reset Lightroom preferences by holding the shift + option (Mac) or shift+alt (Windows) while launching Lightroom.

No, neither fix worked. It's still freezing up and acting oddly. I have version 2015.2.1 (not sure what the lastest is). I have a 2010 Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan. LR has always worked flawlessly prior to this.
Please update it to Lightroom 2015.3.
I've gone to Adobe.com and re-downloaded LR. It tells me it's downloading and then opens the version of LR I already have - 2015.2.1. I've also tried updating the version of LR that's on this computer - still 2.1.
Why isn’t LR updating automatically since I am on the monthly payment plan?
Never mind that last, I just updated via CC update. Thanks for the help!
You are welcome and you need to push the update button to update it , it can not be done automatically.
