In the preferences, under file handling.
If you can't access the InDesign menu to get to the prefs, see Replace Your Preferences for the manual method of finding the preferences files. In this case, delete only the InDesign SavedData file, which will delete the recent list and you should then be able to open ID and make the edit to the preferences from the menu.
I have take the "version"-maps away now, but the problem is still there... what do I do??
What do you mean by taken the version maps away? You were supposed to delete the InDesign SavedData file, then restart the program and edit the preferences.
I used this way:
Hard Drive/Users/<USER>/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign/<Version #>
And took the maps "Version#" away.
What do you meen with "edit the preferenses"?
Sorry I´m not good at this. Is it possible that you can call me? [phone number removed by moderator -- it's not a good idea to post your personal info on a public forum].
So you deleted the entire version folder? that should be OK as long as you took the version folder that corresponds to the version you are using. CC 2015 is version 11.
Are you able now to start InDesign and access the InDesign Menu, then choose Preferences? The recent files number will be under File Handling.
I'm a user volunteer, not an Adobe employee, and we don't do telephone support on the forums.
I thinks it works now.
