windows 10 pro x64
I used the removal tool.
after reboot, I still have a glaring residue:
in windows file explorer, when I enter the "desktop" view, there is a white, blank file icon that bears the name "creative cloud files".
this icon has no properties and no apparent way to delete it.
There must be a registry hack for this...
Generally, you should uninstall apps first, then remove the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, then run the cleaner to ensure remaining files are deleted.
Please see: FAQ: How do I uninstall Creative Cloud Apps?
okay, thanks for the good advice, but... how do I get rid of the icon I mentioned?
never mind, I rolled back my computer previous to installation of creative cloud.
