install the cc desktop app from here, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

use the app to install your programs and trials.

No luck...same message...My internet connection is fine btw.

clear your adobe.com cookies and/or use a different browser.

Used different browser, cleared cookies and then used a different computer.  Same result.  I am thankful for the suggestions. I will try later in the day.

are you trying to connect using a corporate connection (that may be behind a firewall)?

We are behind a firewall, but I can download and install software from other sites...it just seems adobe maybe blocked.

adobe often is blocked, especially by corporations that don't want employees updating adobe products (like reader and flash player).
