I want to start working with Premiere Pro in my office (PR&Marketing) - but just for generating simple videos for social media. Unfortunatelly I need a new computer therefore which is more capable (with mine I can't download Premiere Pro).
Do you know if it would be sufficient if we buy a computer with the following datas:
ThinkCentre M83 Tiny 10E9-0003, i5-4590T, 4GB, SSD 256GB, no DVD, Win7 Pro/8.1 Pro, 3 Years On-site Warranty // Memory 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SODIMM 1600MHz
Or do you think there is something missing? Any additional features?
Thanks a lot for your help!! Cristina
if you are doing HD videos, you will want an i7 4-core, something like the i7-4790 or i7-6700, 16gb memory, and at least two drives. one drive example would be, one ssd for the operating system and applications, and another ssd or hdd for media and projects. depending what computer you get, you may have options to configure drives when purchasing or could add drives to the system yourself with aftermarket drives.
there are some guides here, Tweakers Page
i wouldn't buy from lenovo or dell for a while. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dell+lenovo+superfish&ia=news
Thank you very much for your great help!
also i forgot to mention the video card, a gtx 950 or 960 are good for HD.
