CS5 Extended will not accept the serial number while downloading it from the Adobe Site.

I purchased Photoshop CS5 Extended from Adobe. I had to wipe my Mac clean and now trying to reload CS5 Extended but was unsuccessful.  Problem one I cold not find my original disk, butI have the original box with the Serial number on it. 

I went to the Adobe download site Download CS5 products and downloaded CS5 extended.  Then it asked me for my Serial Number and it said that it did not recognize my serial number.

How to get my serial number recognized? when I don't hove CS5?
