    Creative Cloud Totally Frozen - how to fix this?

      I have Windows 10. I have CC, but it has insisted for several days that it is "updating," with the progress at 0%. Thus I cannot get to the list of my programs. apps, libraries, etc. I thought I might be able to uninstall CC and reinstall it, but the system won't let me uninstall it (possibly because I'm actually using PS and ID lots of the time). I don't see what I can do to get out this bind. Where's the secret passageway?

       

      Couldn't Adobe give us an option about whether the updates are loaded automatically or not? Then we could turn off the automatic option and have access to our programs, etc. even though Adobe thinks that we need a new update.
