You close those applications the same way you would close any other application. What is the problem?

Please close the following applications to continue..adobe Bridge CS6 (Bridge exe)
hello and thanks for your responce,,,,,i tried doing what you suggested,
however, it did not work,,,,and i have a new problems,,,,this time with
bridge...the error message reads: bridge encountered a problem and is unable to
read the cache. please try purging the central cache in cache preference
to correct the situation....i tried this and it did not correct the
problem,,,,a utube video suggested that as i open bridge i press cntrl, alt, and
shift key,,,,that did not work....again, thanks for your response and have a

Please reset the Bridge Preferences and then try it.
Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears.
Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.
