1st make frame 34 a keyframe... and then put this script on frame 34...
intervalHandle = setInterval( resumePlay, 5000 );
clearInterval( intervalHandle );

or you can use the undocumented setTimeout(resumePlay, 5000); instead and
not have to clear the interval id.

just starting to use flash again so i am a bit lost. Last version i used was flash 3....!
