Good Afternoon - I have to format "SpO2" throughout a document. The O2 is for oxygen, i.e. the 2 should be subscript. Is there a way to set it up so InDesign can recognise the string and format correctly? I've looked at the GREP options but can't see that it allows for a mix of character formatting.
Create a character style to apply the subscript.
If it is just SpO2, then you can add a GREP style to the paragraph style using the string (?<=SpO)2 to apply the character style to the 2 when preceded by SpO.
Or you can use the same Query string in Find/Change...
Thanks, Peter. That worked a treat.
