I wasn't able to install my cs 5.5 design standard anymore, the serial number won't work (originally for windows). I use to have a PC. How will I install it for this new Mac? Wouldn't want to throw away working programs I've paid.

Serial numbers are platform specific, windows serial number wouldn't work for mac. kindly check: Exchange a product for a different language or platform version

If you had CS6 the platform swap is possible... CS5 or 5.5 are too old for a platform swap
